Terms of Service

Purpose

These terms of service govern the access and use of services provided by Abyss Project.

Acceptance of ToS

Use of the Application implies full acceptance of these ToS by the user (hereinafter "User"). In case of disagreement with these ToS, the User must cease all use of the Application.

Access to the Application

The Publisher undertakes to implement all necessary means to ensure continuous and secure access to the Application.

However, the Publisher cannot be held responsible in case of temporary or permanent interruption of access to the Application for technical, maintenance or force majeure reasons.

Use of the Application

The User agrees to use the Application in accordance with its purpose and applicable laws and regulations. In particular, it is forbidden to:

  • Infringe the intellectual property rights of the Publisher or third parties;
  • Distribute offensive, defamatory, or violent content;
  • Collect personal data without the consent of the persons concerned.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems or networks related to the Application.

Mobile applications

  • Android and Apple mobile applications (including Abyss Memories and Abyss Cloud) may require access to device location to allow you to benefit from all features.
  • Position information is collected locally and is never communicated or stored outside the device.
  • Location can be disabled without compromising the main features of the applications.
  • Files transferred from the AbyssCloud application are encrypted and stored securely in the cloud. They are only accessible to the User and are not shared with third parties.
  • Only files selected by the User are transferred to the cloud. No personal data is collected or stored without the explicit consent of the User.
  • Each transferred file can be deleted at any time by the User from the Mobile application or the Web application.
  • In case of sharing files with other users, the User is solely responsible for the content shared and must ensure that they have the necessary rights.

Intellectual property

All elements of the Application (texts, images, logos, etc.) are the exclusive property of the Publisher or its partners. Any reproduction without prior authorization is prohibited.

Responsibility

The Publisher cannot be held responsible for direct or indirect damages resulting from the use of the Application. The User acknowledges using the Application at his own risk.

Confidentiality

The Publisher undertakes not to disclose private information without the explicit agreement of the User.

However, by using Abyss applications, the User may disseminate and share some of this information (username, email...).

Mobile application data

To function fully, mobile applications (including Abyss Memories and Abyss Cloud) may require access to location and the dissemination of notifications.

The Publisher undertakes not to compromise information (device location) by respecting security standards in force and refuses any external dissemination to the device.

Location information is stored on the device and is not shared with third parties or external servers.

Modification of ToS

The Publisher reserves the right to modify these ToS at any time. Users will be informed of any changes.

Bug and Vulnerability Reporting

User Responsibility

Users are encouraged to report any bugs or security vulnerabilities discovered in the applications.

Bug Reporting

Bug reports can be submitted via the ticketing system available in the user's personal space or on the official Discord server. Reports must include as much detail as possible to facilitate resolution.

Rewards for Reports

The Publisher may, at its discretion, reward users who report critical security vulnerabilities. Rewards are evaluated on a case-by-case basis depending on the severity and impact of the vulnerability.
